Terms of Service & Community Guidelines

Welcome to Square Shotz

These Terms and our Community Guidelines cover your use of the Square Shotz game, friends list, online matches, chat and emotes, and in-app purchases. By installing or using the Square Shotz app, you confirm you're at least 13 years old and accept these terms plus Apple's Standard EULA.

Acceptable Use

Play fair. No cheating, exploits, macros, or third-party tools that alter gameplay.
Be respectful. No harassment, hate speech, threats, or sharing personal info of others.
Keep it appropriate. No sexual, violent, or illegal content in usernames, emotes, or shared material.
One account per person. No selling, buying, trading, or sharing accounts.

Zero-Tolerance Policy

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. Reports are reviewed by our team; accounts that violate these terms can be suspended or permanently banned without notice, and content (like an inappropriate username) can be changed or removed.

Your Tools

Tap any player's name or avatar to open their profile.
Use Report Player to flag cheating, harassment, inappropriate names, or anything else for review.
Use Block Player to stop being matched with them online and hide their friend requests.

Your Account & Content

You're responsible for what you post — usernames, chat, emotes, and shared content. You grant Square Shotz a non-exclusive license to display your in-game display name to other players for gameplay purposes. You can delete your account at any time from Settings; this removes your profile from leaderboards and the in-game friends system.

In-App Purchases

All purchases of coins, card packs, or Season Passes are handled through Apple and governed by Apple's refund and purchase policies. In-game currencies have no real-world value and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Physical Product Pre-Orders

If you pre-order a physical Square Shotz board through our website, you authorize a charge to your selected payment method at the time of order. Estimated shipping windows are disclosed at checkout. Per the FTC Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule, if we are unable to ship within 30 days of the estimated ship date, we will contact you with the option to accept a revised date or receive a full refund.

Privacy

We collect only what's needed to run the game: your display name, gameplay stats, and basic device info. Full details are in our Privacy Policy. We never sell your data.

Termination

We can suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms. You can stop using Square Shotz at any time by deleting the app; deleting the app removes local data but does not automatically delete your cloud account — use Settings > Account to fully delete.

Changes to These Terms

If we materially change these terms, you'll see an updated version in the app before your next online match. Minor clarifications may be made without re-prompting. The latest version always lives at this URL.
